Powder Grey Fancy Stone Earrings

Add Swarovski fancy stones to cup chain findings then add a beaded dangle for more bling!

Materials:

• Empty cup chain earring setting with ring (1 pair)
• 2 Swarovski 12mm square cushion cut crystal rhinestones in powder grey
• 2 Swarovski 14mm Greek Cross Pendants in crystal
• 2 silver 18 guage jump rings
• 2 pairs of chain- or flat-nose pliers

Instructions:

1. Place one Swarovski 12mm square cushion cut crystal rhinestone into a cup chain setting.
    
2. Using the side of the tips of your pliers (or the smooth side of a similar tool), pressing one prong in the cup chain setting toward the Swarovski crystal.
   
3. Repeat step 2 on the opposite side of the setting then continue to work around the setting until the prongs are set and the crystal is secure.
   Tip: When setting a stone, set the prongs on opposite ends first rather than moving from one prong to the next one over. This helps keep the stone centered and straight. If you were to think of the settting as a clock, you would start at 12:00, then 6:00, then 3:00, then 9:00.
4. Using two pairs of pliers, open a jump ring. Loop the open ring through the Greek Cross pendant and the ring on the cup chain earring setting. Close the jump ring.
   
5. Repeat all steps to complete the second earring.
